What's so special?So I woke up and guess what? The sun rised on the east (as it does every day) and then at the evening set on the west (as it does every day as well). There were some people kissing in the buses and parks (they are there every day). Maybe there was a little bit more of them than usually, but I don't think it's an anomaly or something. There were some people selling heart-like products, but there where also many people selling other normal every-day products.
So what's so special? It's just another simple day.
I don't celebrate the Valentine's Day because
1) I don't have anyone to celebrate it with
2) why should I? Look, I know it's beautiful and lovely (etc.) when one human being declares love for another human being. But wouldn't it be much more beautiful if people declared love for other people without any reason? Spontaneously? Nobody needs a special day for love (or to love).

Nie lekceważ go więc, nawet jeśli nie masz lamusa płci przeciwnej, z którym chciałabyś wymieniać się dziś śliną cały dzień

It's just there so that I have an excuse to eat cake. Or chocolates. But I have no one to buy me chocolates.
Also, last year we had a "Valentine's Day Blizzard." *I think it was last year* The tin shed roof caved in and we stayed inside all day, watching the 2nd episode of Star Wars. *of the ORIGINAL trilogy* (The one with Hoth, the wintry planet.) X3
...THAT was fun...Mostly because we got over a foot of snow and it was just like being on Hoth.
